Virgin Gorda
Virgin Gorda is the third-largest of the British Virgin Islands, named by Christopher Columbus for its silhouette resembling a reclining woman. She is best known for The Baths, a UNESCO-recognized formation of house-sized granite boulders forming tidal grottos, and for the calm, reef-protected waters of Gorda Sound at her northern tip.
